I am a firm believer in never letting an infant cry. When they cry they aren’t trying to deceive you, they are either uncomfortable (wet, cold, pain etc), hungry or tired.
I always respond to every cry (or my wife) and it makes a huge difference. Plus as shown with my older one, it make them more confident in the end always knowing someone is there to help if needed.
