Mexico Day Care Fire kills 27 Children
The headline sends chills down my spine and snaps me into reality.
Every parent has had this fear a some point… the fear of not being there, when your child is in danger.
How could such a thing happen?
In this case, the fire started in a neighboring warehouse and quickly spread to the daycare. The children were between 1 and 5 years old.
I can’t imagine the unspeakable grief of the HERMOSILLO, Mexico community. Losing 27 children with 100 more injured is overwhelming for any town. My heart and prayers are with the families and community.
