Hey Public School Systems across America… Listen Up!
Kids Need to Play.
Stop cutting out recess time and give elementary school kids plenty of time to play. I’m not talking about organized exercise classes, I’m talking about laughing, running, jumping and twirling kind of play.
Kids need sunshine and a chance to burn off some of that excess stored energy created while sitting in a classroom for hours at a time. It’s cruel to expect a child to sit still that long and unfair to teachers who must constantly reprimand a fidgety child.
So Please Listen Up School Districts… Kids Need Play.
