I Choose…
Free Will, the right to choose, is one of the greatest gifts and greatest curses ever bestowed upon mankind. With it we can choose to do good or do harm, seek forgiveness or seek revenge, and laugh or cry. We have been given the power to control how we see ourselves in this world.
As parents, we owe it to our children to learn the lessons of choice and consequences. We also need to show them that happiness, like love, is a choice not a feeling. We can teach them not to let circumstances control their lives, but we must first learn to make the choices in our lives that will give us the opportunity to shape their lives.

We all have the right to make our own choices, however our
choices will effect the people around us.
If we choose to be bitter instead of forgiveness, we teach our
children to be bitter.
If we choose to wallow in self pity instead of to choose
happiness, we make those around us suffer with us.
Make smart choices and choose to be HAPPY regardless of
your circumstances.

This is a great lesson that many of us “choose” to take awhile to learn. It’s my hope that my children learn it quickly!
